Di Villier's Day Out...

Thursday.....A day in the history of IPL season 2. Strike Rate of 194 but for 54 balls. Stunned ground of Durban.....Whacked out Chennai bowlers and Villiers was not to be stopped. First century of IPL 2 and that too in just 54 balls made the day for IPL lovers.

Delhi Daredevils set a target of 190 for Chennai Super Kings. Hayden tried to destroy the Delhi bowlers but got trapped by youngster bowler Sangwan at the score of 57. Tailunder batsmen got fussed over Delhi and lost the match by 9 runs. Still a well admired batting by Chennai but lack of a match finisher.

Delhi gets up to 2nd position in IPL 2 following Deccan Chargers at number 1.

Wiining norms were equal in bet market. First bet was simple and to decide the winner of the match. A tough bet as both teams were quite competitive. Other bet of the match was to decide the target set by the team batting first. Most bet market players were betting for the range 151-170 but unfortunately Di Villiers did not let them win.....A great match and a great show.....

Gilchrist shines Over Bangalore

A Wednesday...22nd April and Gilchrist hollers over Bangalore Royal Challengers. Playing cricket exactly after an year, Gilchrist proves why Aussie players are always great players in field. 5 sixes and 6 fours and a total of 71 runs led Deccan Chargers to set a target of tough 185 runs. In reverse mode, Dravid played typical strokes for Bangalore with 2 mesmerizing huge hits. Virat Kohli scored fifty and set some hope for Bangalore. But tough fielding of Deccan Chargers did not give Bnagalore any room to bloom. Earlier Bangalore had shown a bad piece of lazy fielding.

From betting point it was a thrilling match. There were two bets set for the match. The range of total runs scored by both teams and the total number of wickets to fall down. Most market players betted for 240-280 score but a good pitch and a tough match didn't allow them win their bets. I too lost the bet number one. In other bet I was in favour of 10-14 wickets. Lucking it was 14th wicket of the match that Bnagalore Royal Challengers lost.

Good game overall but Mr. Mallya must address fielding concerns for his team. And the most valuable player Pieterson needs to show a thundirbird game....
