A Wednesday...22nd April and Gilchrist hollers over Bangalore Royal Challengers. Playing cricket exactly after an year, Gilchrist proves why Aussie players are always great players in field. 5 sixes and 6 fours and a total of 71 runs led Deccan Chargers to set a target of tough 185 runs. In reverse mode, Dravid played typical strokes for Bangalore with 2 mesmerizing huge hits. Virat Kohli scored fifty and set some hope for Bangalore. But tough fielding of Deccan Chargers did not give Bnagalore any room to bloom. Earlier Bangalore had shown a bad piece of lazy fielding.
From betting point it was a thrilling match. There were two bets set for the match. The range of total runs scored by both teams and the total number of wickets to fall down. Most market players betted for 240-280 score but a good pitch and a tough match didn't allow them win their bets. I too lost the bet number one. In other bet I was in favour of 10-14 wickets. Lucking it was 14th wicket of the match that Bnagalore Royal Challengers lost.
Good game overall but Mr. Mallya must address fielding concerns for his team. And the most valuable player Pieterson needs to show a thundirbird game....
