Deccan Chargers discharged the Kolkata Knight Riders...So badly that they would have felt it a dark night. Mccullam couldn't create the same magic as he did in IPL1. Dada struggled a lot to score a debut run in 2 overs. RP Singh slammed Riders with his 4 wicket haul.

And then who could stop Gibbs and Rohit Sharma to get Deccan chargers a tremendous win?

Even the bet favoured Deccan Chargers....May be Kolkata needs some more energy drinks to recover Shoaib Akhtar's kind of pace...

Vettori and Rain dare the devils

Not a very usual sight in cricket......20 overs match reducing to just 6. Again a spinner shows the magic. Goel with some nice hits gave a good start to Kings XI. Yuvi too showed some master sixes but the team couldn't do great against Vettori's spinning performance. Rain didn't favour Kings and the target reducing to 60 in 6 overs was an opportunity knock at Devil's door. Sehwag could do so even in test match....He did it with 7 balls remaining with a huge hit to carve the finish.
Our bet market was already supporting Dare Devils with a 9:5 against Kings. I too had betted for devils and won my first Premium bet of the tournament.

So dear Preity, what are you thinking now? At least with a Bombay dying you could have put a dye to dry out the wet innings of Kings XI. Better luck next time and have a good sleep......

And the Challengers thrash the Royals......Very unconventional to the IPL1. Bangalore Royal Challengers have won the second match of IPL2. No doubt, credit goes to Kumble and Dravid. A magnificent finsih by Kumble gave Rajasthan Royals a worst nightmare. What an amazing spell he bowled. 5 runs for 5 wickets in 20-20....Really rarest of the rare performance in 20 over cricket. Dravid had given a beautiful hook with his howly innining of 66 runs.........Wake up Rajasthan Royals!!!
Anyways the bet was in favour of RCB with 7:5 against RR. The reason might have been inclusion of Pieterson...whatever, a first day finished with 2 good matches. Shane Warne must be watching Dravid's huge six in his dreams......good Night!!!!!!

Mumbai Indians set a road map

Sachin Tendulkar proved his being one of the top batsmen of all times and has set the roadmap for Mumbai Indians in IPL season 2. A 19 run win in the first match has made Mumbai Indians the team to win first match of tournament. A not out performance by Tendulkar and a thrilling and paced inning by Abhishek Nayar set the mood of the game.
Inspite of Hayden's good knock Chennai Super Kings couldn't save their crown. I always doubt the play of Joginder Sharma and again he proved it at the end.
Whatever heck it might e....I just lost my first bet of IPL....
Even though the bet market was favoring CSK as I did with 10:8 against MI, but that's what betting is for.
Let's focus on what comes and believe my luck more than the analysis I tried to do for betting.....Happy betting!!!!

Betting the first match

Still 40 minutes to go.....Hope to have a tough match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.......The bet is simple...Who will win this match?
I've just 10 minutes to analyze and bet on a team as the rules say..I can bet only half an hour before the match starts.....Should Sachin and Jayasurya make the first win of IPL or Dhoni and his boys taste the victory?
I love Sachin and appeciate Jayasurya's batting...but still I feel Dhoni is the best captain and has given India a tremendous wins over last couple of years.......confused a lot...

Meanwhile This time on Fourth Umpire Gaurav(Challel-V VJ) is involved heart throb Mandira. Mandira is not clad in Sari this time but something just to cover her parts.....leave it to her and focus on my betting......

Betting Rules

I believe in Pursuit of Happiness.......and the happiness goes along with winning most of the times. We too with a small team decided to live the fun....the fun of a life time....Entering the virtual bet bazaar. We thought not to deal with money at hands and live with the point systems and finally the points convert into a all time high party celebrations by the losers in bet bazaar....

Here under we went ahead to create rules for playing in bet bazaar. Rules came out exciting with more suggestions and finally came live 5 days ahead of the gala.

We decide to have 3 kinds of bets : Premium (50 point), Golden (75 points) and platinum (100 points).
Settlement of the points to be done only after the tournament.
Every market player has to take part in at least 50% of all the bets (smart idea to avoid the cash flow...sorry points flow)
Bets get expired half an hour ahead of the game start.
Platinum bets will be few but mandatory. Non players will be considered lost by default.

So were the rules decided and the game started......No bargaining or discounts available.

Mother of all Bets

Fun is all around and so the excitement. Some players are in tension and so are the team owners. Players are excited, nervous and agitated to no extent. Lots of changes from IPL season 1 to season 2. Some top performers out of IPL 2 and a no home ground to any players except South Africans. No players from Pakistan involved, some players injured and changes in captaincy. So this time it seems to be more breath taking tournament......

And our first grand bet goes to the end of tournament....surprised?
Simple, our biggest bet - Who is going to win the IPL season 2?
A lot of analysis is going on....but T-20 is never predictable. One over can change the whole theme..
So which teams gets more points to bet for?

Delhi Daredevils too seems to be a balanced team...but will the balance be maintained in the play as well....Is Sehwag ready to hit madly with Gambhir?

Bangalore Royal Challengers too seem ready with their new in form captain Pieterson...also the most expensive player of this season.....It's no more a test team now...
